Righteous Brothers Star Found Dead
http://www.nme.com/news/106666.htm

THE RIGHTEOUS BROTHERS' BOBBY HATFIELD died yesterday (November 6) of undetermined causes at his hotel room.

The singer, who along with partner Bill Medley, was famous for massive hits such as 'Unchained Melody' and 'You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin'', was discovered in his bed at 7pm - just half an hour before the duo were due to step onstage at the Miller Auditorium in western Michigan. He was 63.

Damn, I loved those guys. A lot better than their imitators, like Hall and Oates.

1. Okay, I'll say it...
You've lost that livin' feeling...

Sad, really. Hatfield's stuff, love it or lump it, will be remembered long after "today's hit music" is around after 30 years.

3. We were "surfers" then
1 buck would get you in @ the "Air Port Club" near Seal Beach, Ca. "Little Latin Lupi Lu" was my favorite. Must have been summer of '64..... Damn I was never supposed to get this old.
