Poll: More Skeptical of Bush Iraq Policy (Gallup)
http://www.newsday.com/news/nationworld/nation/wire/sns-ap-iraq-poll,0,7120904.story?coll=sns-ap-nation-headlines

Public support is slipping for President Bush's handling of the situation in Iraq, with 54 percent now disapproving of his performance on the post-war rebuilding of that country, according to a poll out Thursday.

The CNN-USA Today-Gallup poll found that 45 percent approve of his handling of Iraq and 54 percent disapprove. In August, that same poll found 57 percent approving and 41 percent disapproving of Bush's performance on Iraq.

<snip>

The public is divided on whether they approve of President Bush's handling of the economy, with 47 percent approving and 50 percent disapproving -- a slight improvement from early September.

Four in 10, 39 percent, said the United States made a mistake sending troops to Iraq, up from 23 percent who said that in March. Six in 10 said things are going badly for the United States in Iraq, double the number that felt that way in early June.

Bush's overall job approval rating was 54 percent -- a number that ranges from 50 percent to the mid 50s, depending on the poll.

3. Not unless we clean up the rigged voting system.
He could have just a popularity of 10% and he would still
win the election with a rigged Diabold/Chad ballot system.

in his first debate with Al Gore.

He will exit the White House in 2004!!!

5. Here's what I don't understand
Bush's ratings on the economy and Iraq are in the 40s, but his overall rating is 54 percent? Could someone explain this? (BTW, notice he got basically no bounce from the strong third-quarter GDP numbers.)

6. Forty Five - Fifty Four Percent...
... Just how can such a substantial percentage of a population be so completely obtuse in the matters of Iraq and DimSon's approval respectively?

Get your damn head out of your friggin' ass, America!

Wake up and smell the evil. Even with the media's balls being held in their coporate vice, the stench is so pervasive at this point, how the hell can you miss it to the tune of forty five and fifty four percent? Huh?
