For Immediate Release
Date: November 6, 2003
GENERAL WESLEY CLARK CONDEMNS BUSH ADMINISTRATION'S REFUSAL TO ENFORCE LAWS PROTECTING HUMAN HEALTH AND THE PURITY OF AMERICAN FISH, WATERFOWL AND WILDLIFE
http://clark04.com/press/release/066/
Today, EPA lawyers disclosed that, based on the recommendations of Vice President Cheney's Energy Task Force, the Bush Administration has forced them to drop investigations of 50 power plants for past and ongoing violations of the Clean Air Act.

"Once again, the Bush Administration has betrayed the public trust through a stealth campaign to undermine the laws that protect our air and water," General Clark said today. "Under its so-called ÔClear Skies Initiative,' the Bush administration has weakened and delayed rules that protect our health and dramatically reduce emissions of toxic mercury from power plants."

The Administration's announcement comes on the same day that the EPA, State of Florida and United States Geological Survey released a ten-year study, confirming that enforcement would have an almost immediate effect on improving the environment and public health, by reducing emissions and eliminating 90 % of toxic concentrations of mercury in contaminated aquatic life and wildlife. General Clark, himself a hunter and fisherman, promised that he would reinstate "tough limits on emissions of mercury from smokestacks by requiring 1960s-era power plants to install modern pollution control technology.

4. Clark Condemns Bush Adm's Refusal to Enforce Laws Protecting Human Health
It's unfortunate that the Clark Campaign has adopted the internet equivalent of yelling in their Press Release headlines. Prior Press Releases were more civil in this respect. Perhaps to put a better foot forward, you'd be so kind as to edit the Subject and adopt mixed case? I've provided a source for a cut'n'paste in the subject of this message.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation,

6. I have to admit, Clark is kicking butt, and taking names!

And he is really distancing himself from the Dean rhetoric...which is becoming more and more rhetorical.

I don't know...he's looking good. It's apparent he has Clinton behind him.....and that can't be all bad.

All he has to do is put Hillary on the ticket, and I am all his!!!!!!

I do NOT want to see a Clark/Dean ticket.

talking about the environment on his POS webpage. Of course it's the last tab (all the way to the right) on the POSs' website. Yes, I grinned my teeth and visited but for a moment. Sickening.

From the evil POSs' webpage:

Pres. JERKOFF believes that the federal government has an important role to play in protecting our environment and he has introduced new and innovative policies to achieve these goals.
_________________________

JERKOFF just hasn't figured out what the above statement means because some wiseguy webdude wrote it in. That clown pres. probably doesn't even know there's an environment tab on his POS page.
