6. Four killed in Black Hawk crash
still no word whether it was shot down or an "accident"..

Four killed in Black Hawk crash
Friday 07 November 2003

At least four American soliders have been killed and two injured as a helicopter is "forced down" near the northern Iraqi town of Tikrit, the US Army has said.

The helicopter went down on Friday on a riverbank about 1km (half a mile) from the US base in Saddam Hussein's former palace near Tikrit, which is Saddam's hometown and a hotbed of anti-US sentiment.

White smoke was seen rising from the wreckage and three other choppers were hovering overhead.

The cause of the crash has not yet been confirmed - but resistance attacks on US helicopters have recently been more effective.

11. Ok just from the crashes
We are up to 21 troopers killed in a week...

God I hate this administration!

Yes this is the Revolt I was expecting to happen...

God I hate it when I am right... so far what is the count for this month?

15 from the Chinook

6 from the Black Hawk

and from the "minor inscidents" we are to what another fifteen?

If my math is correct the pace has dramatically increased.

This is indeed 1923 all over again, anybody care to send Paul Wolfowitz a comprehesive history of Iraq and HIGHLIGHT the revolt for him? Maybe Richard Perle? How about Feigh? I mean bush will not read it, no pretty pictures.

14. We didn't learn anything from the French in Vietnam....
Why should we learn from the history of Iraq, America in 2004 (1964) is arrogant enough to believe that the laws of nature don't apply to it...

Innocent Iraqis (Vietnamese) and American Troops pay the ultimate price for this arrogance...
