US 'aggressive' in reopening beef trade: Bush
http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20060123/pl_nm/madcow_bush_dc_2

MANHATTAN, Kansas (Reuters) - The United States will be aggressive in reopening markets to American beef and assuring foreign buyers there is no danger of mad cow disease, President George W. Bush said on Monday.

Bush said he wanted to "make sure we're treated fairly" in beef exports. Exports used to consume 10 percent of U.S. beef output and are recovering slowly from sales bans that followed discovery of the first U.S. case of mad cow disease in late 2003.

"We have got to be aggressive about explaining to people why our beef is safe," Bush said, when asked by Kansas rancher Jan Lyons about a new interruption in exports. Lyons is the former head of the National Cattlemen's Beef Association, a trade group for cattle ranchers.

Japan suspended U.S. beef imports on Friday when its inspectors found spinal material in a shipment of veal. The material was not allowed under a U.S.-Japan agreement that opened the Japanese market last month after a two-year hiatus.

2. Fact is, your beef is NOT safe, bush. Catapult the propaganda all ya like
it only works in America on the Idiot Americans, not on the rest of the world.

You'd think even bush & Cartel would know that much by now.

3. You think Bush eats the same ground beef
that his supporters buy at Wal-Mart? Or do they get him organic, grass fed beef?

7. Yeah, probably.
It's easy to tell the rest of the country that you eat a lot of beef and you're not at all scared when you're not really eating the same crap they're eating.

4. It was Bush's agressiveness which caused the latest incident
Cutting back on inspections allowed the latest contaminated beef from hitting Japan's shores.

5. That lying piece of filth
He would jepardize persons health with his lies. It seems americans are
endangered by the beef industry and its poor practices, but rather he's
determined that foreign peoples should suffer too.

I figure the japanese and everyone who's not brainwashed won't touch
US beef with a 10 foot pole. Its just as well a liar is pushing it.
His credibility gap is so extreme, if you want to destroy your cred,
get bush to speak up for you.... ha!
