Allegations Against Swarzenegger Won't go Away

<snip>SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - Ten days before Arnold Schwarzenegger (news - web sites) is set to become governor of America's most populous state, allegations that the muscleman actor groped many women over a long period refuse to go away.

In a week in which he announced that several of the top jobs in his administration will go to women, the incoming governor got into a much publicized spat with California's top law enforcement officer, who said Schwarzenegger's past should be investigated.

State Attorney General Bill Lockyer, a Democrat who says he voted for the Republican in last month's recall election, even suggested on Friday that Schwarzenegger may have misbehaved as recently as during the filming of "Terminator 3," which was released this summer

If true, the statute of limitations may not have yet have expired on that. Lockyer was vague about the details but the insinuation capped a week of acrimony between the two men.

2. Exactly
The best way to prevent any number of people supporting him is to stay on the negative and demonize him at all costs. Such is the cost of politics. Do any really progressive citizens of CA really want this guy to succeed?

In about four or five years we'll have one of ours in office and then we can help support the recovery of CA. Until then we must make sure the thug in office does not make any progress.

to make him look like he is not against Ar-nold when he goes after him.....just a thought

5. But what a conflict of interest. "Voting" for the guy
you're trying to oust! Call me naive or dense but I don't get it.

6. It's like
Ken Lay and ENRON, the Plame Affair and Bush. They do the crime and skate away. How did things get so whacked?
