WASHINGTON (AP) -- Amid increasing attacks against U.S. forces in Iraq, a growing number of Americans, including men and independent voters, say the war in Iraq was not worthwhile, according to a survey released Monday.

Half of Americans, 49 percent, say the war was not worth it, compared to 48 percent who say it was, according to a survey conducted this month by the Annenberg Public Policy Center

Shifts in opinion were seen in most demographic groups, but were strongest among men, independents and political moderates and people with incomes of less than $35,000 per year, the survey found. The poll of 738 adults had a margin of error of plus or minus 4 percentage points

1. Very serious trouble for Duhbya.
And Iraq is just going to get worse. He's finished, the country will never forgive him for this.

5. I think Dems need to go in to the High Schools & Colleges
and talk about the possibility of the draft restarting - or find a way to get the rumor going (cause you know if AWOL gets back in it's gotta happen). This should wake up a lot of the youth.

Sometimes I'm disheartened to see so many of the youth totally out of it politically or starting Young Repug clubs.

Though I am encouraged that a couple of our Dem candidates do have strong youth movements on campus and in HS.
