President Satisfied With Cheney's Account

WASHINGTON - President Bush was satisfied with Vice President Dick Cheney's account of his Texas hunting accident, but Bush's spokesman declined to say Thursday whether the president felt it should have been revealed earlier.

"I think that the vice president clearly explained the rationale behind that," White House press secretary Scott McClellan said, avoiding a direct response to questions about whether Bush felt the shooting accident was publicly disclosed in a timely manner.

...

"The president's satisfied with what the vice president said yesterday," McClellan said Thursday.

17. did Heartless suggest they go hunting?
Little chimpy was scared and had to say, okay daddy dick, you were great, you got Plamegate, Abu Ghraib, Guantanamo, Diebold, NSA wiretapping, Katrina off the front pages, and it won't cost a penny in campaign contributions because Harry (who got a warning shot) has already gone hunting with the dick.

21. Just as Chimpie was satisfied with George "Slam Dunk" Tenet's
intelligence reports on Iraq's possession of WMDs.

Bush was SO satisfied, in fact, that Tenet was the recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

Criminy!

28. New York Times weighs in
President Bush said this afternoon that Vice President Dick Cheney presented a "strong and powerful explanation" of how he came to shoot and injure a man while hunting for quail at a Texas ranch on Saturday.

31. In terms of negligence, * just blew the whole Cheney argument...
I heard it this morning, and now, you have published it word for word. Here is what * said: "This is a man who likes the outdoors, and he likes to hunt. And he heard a bird flushed, and he turned and pulled the trigger and saw his friend get wounded," Bush said.

Do I need to Bold, Italicize and underline the word HEARD? So, the truth is that Cheney took a 'sound shot', and probably didn't even have a bird in sight when he fired. He is guilty of negligence, and the tool of a sheriff who has closed the case is exactly that, a tool. He should be ashamed to wear his badge.
