U.S. says major combat not resumed in Iraq
We're just dying with more frequency...

http://famulus.msnbc.com/FamulusIntl/reuters11-10-153437.asp?reg=MIDEAST

WASHINGTON, Nov. 10 — Despite an upsurge in violence and daily U.S. deaths, a top adviser to President George W. Bush said on Monday that major combat operations in Iraq have not resumed but acknowledged the United States is going through a difficult time.

White House national security adviser Condoleezza Rice also said Bush was not distancing himself from American casualties. Bush has attended no funerals for troops killed in Iraq but does write personal notes to the families.

Bush is expected to talk about war sacrifice during Veterans Day remarks on Tuesday.

''The president is commander in chief, he cannot distance himself from American casualties,'' Rice told Seattle's KING television, an NBC affiliate. ''These are the men and women in uniform whom he commands and he feels acutely every loss.''

HOW THE FUCK IS BUSH SUPPOSED TO VISIT DEAD SOLDIERS WHEN HE'S OUT RAISING MONEY???? There's only so many hours in the day.

1. Pay no attention to those body bags behind the curtains.
Just because we have troops dying everyday doesn't mean there is any combat going on. It's just that those people hate freedom and we keep bringing them more and more freedom!

7. Excuse me, but we need to be using the Bush-preferred language here...
...that's "transfer tubes", not "body bags".

What, are you trying to alarm someone?

4. No major combat here, people...
...we bomb towns as part of our everyday police activities. Why, we're training the Iraqi army, and any day now they'll be able to do it themselves. Ah, I love the smell of crude in the morning...

5. Why, sure!
Every morning in West Texas we wake up to routine bombing runs, tanks in the street, RPGs downing helis and all the rest.

Lighten up! It's just life!!

UNLESS YOU GET KILLED, FU**ers!!!!!
