LONDON is more at risk from a terrorist attack by Islamic extremists than either New York or Washington, according to a study published today.

3. Predictable... so this justifies banning 10 million protesting Brits
to security zones?

4. Great point
they're really pissed about Shrub not getting to ride in the Queen's carriage, aren't they?
Bush is going to London in spite of suggestions to the contrary from Blair and others. He is hated by most of Europe.:eyes:

5. I still can't figure out why he's doing this.
Surely, not for the ratings!!! Think of the security nightmare. I know several Americans who are packing as I write this. They're going over there to throw their weight around.

I highly doubt the US is going to reimburse the UK for the tab on this "visit". Think of the broken lampposts, shop shutters & cobblestones by herds of angry protesters. The UK is on its own for this bill, and for what? To show The Bush that they despise him & to rub it in Tony's face?

I just wish I could be there.

7. it wouldn't be the "protestors'" property
and if they start doing that they move from being protestors to rioters, which isn't the plan. 'Non-violent direct protest' is the description, I think. At one stage there was an implication of climbing the garden walls at Buckingham Palace, and invading the grounds, but with the Americans given a 'shoot to kill' policy, it'll be a brave person who goes through with that.

The aim is for a huge, but peaceful, demonstration - the 1 million-plus demonstration earlier this year caused no problems at all. Plus a few photo-ops, like toppling a Bush statue a la Saddam, and baring your bum at Bush if he sticks his head out of the Palace at all.

9. Any damage done is likely to be the government ringer put in to
discredit the protestors. What possible reason would the protestors have for doing this? Then ask your self what possible gain the protest detractors could have for doing this? Oldest trick in the book.

8. everywere Dubbya goes terrorists seem to follow
after his visit here this month in Australia, the French authorities arrested a known terrorist when he returned to France after he had been living in Sydney for a year.
They failed to inform Australian authorities ( payback for the insults ?) and it appears the man may have been studying how to sabotage the Lucas Heights Nuclear Reactor which could wipe out most of Sydney if it were bombed.
Earlier this year Green's demonstrators showed how easy it was to break into the Reactor when 20 of them stromed past security guards and held protests on the roof.

Bush / Blair/ Howard..all proven liars that use tragedies to get themselves re-elected and to shift public funds into private purses.
