Bush laying wreath at Arlington; plans think tank speech on Iraq
Bush speaking at a think tank? Since when do you call a gldfish bowl a tank?

http://www.wishtv.com/Global/story.asp?S=1519628

White House-AP -- President Bush is paying tribute to veterans today, with a wreath-laying at Arlington National Cemetery and a speech about what's on the line in Iraq.

The president is joining in the traditional ceremony at Arlington's Tomb of the Unknowns. Afterward, he's addressing the Heritage Foundation, a conservative think tank.

Press Secretary Scott McClellan says Bush wants to make clear "the stakes are high" in Iraq -- and America must prevail there, both to win the war on terror and to make the Middle East a region of stability and freedom.

2. how fitting that
he is laying the wreath at an "unknown" soldiers grave since he doesn't wish to "know" any of the soldiers he has sent to their doom. just another way for him to ignore the families of those killed in iraq/afghanistan. why can't he be a friggin human being and interrupt his jogging schedule to go to a known soldiers funeral? bush is AWOL again!

11. Bush* is so brain-damaged he probably considers himself
an "unknown soldier" for failing to report to duty for over a year while "serving" in the Texas National Guard. And to be fair, he was unknown by his unit.

7. propaganda tank is more like it
Heritage is hardly a "think" tank, but rather is a place where the lies and propaganda are cranked out, along with the insidious policies that are destroying the United States.

6. did he actually lay it himself ?
when he did similar in Australia at the War Memorial he had an assistant actually lay the wreath. No media was allowed so there was obviously no photo op.

9. when in down... speak to the sycophants.
getting harder and harder to get the 'right' handpicked crowds? No problem - we have a room full of sycophants and their star-eyed funders at the Heritage Foundation - next stop AEI!

10. Hello, you callous f*ckwit!
There are soldiers dying right now, and we know their names, but you are disrespecting them and their families by hiding their bodies from view. Why don't you attend at least ONE goddammned funeral, or try calling all the families who've lost their loved ones today and offering them your thanks and condolences instead of prancing around for photo ops. God I hate this effing bastard!
