U.S. commander vows hard response
http://www.msnbc.com/news/870749.asp?0sl=-31
"The top U.S. military commander in Iraq said Tuesday that he would not hesitate to use any weapon at his disposal to defeat militants who were launching more and more brazen attacks on U.S. forces by the day, some of them showing signs of broad, well-organized coordination."
" Sanchez said the number of daily attacks on U.S. forces continued to increase. “The trend has gone up. It was in the mid-teens about 60 days ago, and it is now about 30 to 35 engagements in a day,” he said"

1. What is left to use?
Our military is already using reprisals against the civilian population. What is this psycho threatening the Iraqis with?

2. There are still thousands of Iraqi children with four limbs

Even some with two parents. The planned food supply cut-off has not yet been completed, and there are some villages with access to water.

5. Railing against a fundamentally flawed policy
Edited on Wed Nov-12-03 04:29 AM by teryang
...which was doomed at the outset. How can intelligent men even delude themselves into thinking that there is an application of force that will change the ultimate outcome in Iraq: American withdrawal. Colonialism was completely discredited by the end of WWII. The US foolishly and tragically went back for another taste in Vietnam. Now we're at it again.

The regime keeps trying to characterize everything that happens as something new and diabolical. This is the classic Islamic response to foreign invasion. The resistance doesn't recognize international boundaries. (Neither do we.) But it does recognize that one cannot rule in the absence of civil order. Without civil order, there is no mainstream Iraqi support for the American venture. This foreign adventure in colonialism is marked by so many false assumptions that it was doomed to failure from the start.

Certainly, this is the greatest foreign policy blunder since Vietnam. But can you call it a blunder when it was deliberately and fraudulently undertaken? What is the Time cover this week? How was Cheney mislead by intelligence? Again, you have got to be shitting me.

8. Bring in the B-52's!
Let's try carpet bombing now. Not only will it make defense contractors deliriously, profitably happy, it will probably work at least as well as it did in Viet Nam 1.

9. So familiar of the nazi german tactics in Belorussia in WWII
You kill one of our soldiers and we take hostages and shoot 100 civilians for every Wehrmacht soldier killed by resistance.
Well, it never worked, scores of people were drawn to the resistance. The entire areas were safe for the civilians because they were protected by huge partisan armies and germans couldn't put their feet on that land.

I think it is high time for Sanchez to parade swastica banner before his troops and create special zondercommando troops in order to waste civilian hostages and burn their homes.

11. Mr Sanchez is a Whack Job
Who likes to wear his pistol holster and 9 mm prominently displayed over his chest at press conferences.

Kind of like the CHIMPANZEE and his flight suit--all buckled up and walking, with his dick jutting out.

12. He said this before the Italian army was blown up, right?
Strutting around acting tough didn't seem to work as well as he'd hoped, apparently.
