Recall: No Room for Public at Historic Inaugural (Arnold)
Tickets will go to select groups, planners say.

Gov.-elect Arnold Schwarzenegger, who asked California voters to "join Arnold" during the recall election, won't be able to extend the same offer to the masses at his historic swearing-in ceremony Monday.

The Republican's inaugural committee on Tuesday announced that attendance at the outdoor event at the Capitol will be restricted, with no access allowed for the general public.

(snip)

No tickets to the 11 a.m. event on the west steps of the Capitol will be available at the site, but some 4,000 will be distributed in advance via organizations across the state. An additional 3,500 will go to specific invitees, including members of the Legislature, other elected officials and their families. The inaugural committee initially had hoped to distribute some tickets to the general public.

"There's just not enough room," said Sean Walsh, a spokesman for Schwarzenegger's swearing-in committee. "We just want to be honest with the public. We don't want people driving in from all corners of the state and being disappointed. ... It was a tough thing. We would have preferred not to have gone this route."

You see, Ah-nold wants to be a governor for all Californians - just as long as you don't show up and spoil his carefully arranged inaugural.

So, please stay home, watch Fox and CNN, and await further instructions.

12. Of course it was all a lie
Did anyone really think Her Gropenfuhrer was going to be Imperial Gouvernor of all the people?

Of course, most who voted for Herr Gropenfuhrer didn't think at all.

Talk about Schadenfruede, I must confess that the Imperial Province of Kallie-Fornia, like the rest of the Imperial Subjects of Amerika, will be shortly getting what they deserve.

15. Anders tag, dasselbe scheiss.

And we should be surprised because....?

Face it. The glorius minority of voters elected the actor, and like his movies and candidacy the inaugural is going to be so painfully scripted so that there is no chance of the random surprise. Go figure.

You Californians (Ahh-nold supporters only) are lucky if the inaugural doesn't turn out to be a pre-recorded media-fest circle-jerk.

Suckers.

Sure Ahnold's for "da peeple" only if they donate
