Four People Survive Jet Crash in Ill.
http://www.guardian.co.uk/uslatest/story/0,1282,-3379548,00.html

Wondering who was onboard.

BELLEVILLE, Ill. (AP) - A twin-engine business jet
crashed shortly after takeoff and burst into flames
Wednesday morning in a wooded area but all four
people on board survived, officials said.

The Lear aircraft took off from St. Louis
Downtown Airport in Cahokia for a flight to North
Platte, Neb., but went down about four miles
southeast of the airport, FAA spokesman Tony
Molinaro said.

Two crew members and two passengers were on
board, he said.

The pilot had some type of problem that
prevented him from contacting an air traffic
controller, said Scott Sellers, a controller at the
airport, which is across the Mississippi River from
St. Louis.

If one has an emergency to attend too, there is little time to contact ATC.

Saw this on TV this morning before I left for work. St. Louis traffic copters were on the scene before the fire trucks.
