1. Weasel's ability to suck up
to the Shrub will probably get him a seat on the Supreme Court by then.

4. Say it again! Say it again, truthisfreedom!
I just get the giggles every time I hear "lost to a dead man." I mean, did he just not get the freaking hint when he LOST TO A DEAD MAN? How screwed up do you have to be to lose to a DEAD GUY?

6. are you referring to the 'girl in the walk-in cooler' story?
I mean, there seem to be plenty of them.
and as for comedy, Coleman does comedy pretty well, though unintentionally.

"I am a 99 percent improvement over Wellstone."
Now there's a laugh, and probable fodder for t-shirts and signs at Coleman rallies.

9. nope, not that story. i was at a birthday get-together at manny's
a couple of years ago (i can get the exact date... best friend's birthday) and four of us observed coleman drinking and flirting and touching a slender asian woman in a short dress at the bar who was obviously not his wife. he was not yet erected senator.

7. And then he'll get Wellstoned?
Boy, here's a classic good news bad news.
When I saw him in person at a speech a month
ago an audience member asked him if he thought
Bush Inc were capable/responsible for Carnahan,
Wellstone, et al. Franken gave an emphatic no
and quickly moved it.

He either doesn't realize the true depth of the
evil he's going up against, or isn't willing to
acknowledge it publically (understandably).
I hope it's the first case, so that he looks
out for himself and avoids small planes.

11. No problem
It's not my thread :-) However...that sounds good and there's nothing wrong with astrology - and speaking of stars...

"Juliet when we made love you used to cry
you said I love you like the stars above
I'll love you till i die
there's a place for us you know the movie song
when you gonna realize it was just that the time was wrong?"
