2. Remember when the father of a young man |

killed in Somalia blamed Clinton personally for the death of his son and the right wing thought that was "right on." Let's see what the reaction is to this - not that it matters really. Prayers for that family. One doesn't know what to say anymore.

7. Our presidents are murderers of children... |
|
I hold our commanders-in-chief responsible for the lives destroyed in the dick-waving adventures they help forge. In our history, we have 43 men (among many others) who will have to answer for the moans uttered by mothers and fathers, sisters and brothers, wives and husbands, who have all felt the pangs of despair.

for the loss of this woman's child (I don't care how old your kids get - they are your children).
No parent wants to see their children die before them - the children are our hopes for a better future. We know that our ability to change the world and its ways ends when our children can no longer be a part of it.
How very sad :(

The buck stops with the one who so ignorantly bellowed "Bring Em On" after placing these people in harm's way when it is now abundantly clear this war could have been avoided.
I hope she finds solace for her deep pain.

11. if anyone can't understand why you hate Bush ... |
|
well here ya go.
I hate Bush because he kills people. And made me complicit, as a US taxpayer, in his killing.
That's the bottom line and that's why I want to see him on death row where he belongs.

As the mother of three grown children, I certainly understand her anguish. I also agree that Bush is responsible for her son's death, and the deaths of all, American or Iraqi.
Perhaps the depth of her feeling will explain to some of the brain-dead right wing just exactly why more and more ordinary Iraqis are joining the ones Bush's stooges choose to call "insurgents" and "Saddam loyalists."
I believe they are, instead, people whose lives have been shattered by death, injury, and destruction. There are going to be increasing numbers of people hurt by this sociopath, and it is a global pain.

A "wrongful death" suit based on the lack of automacity of UN Resolution 1441 for military action would be a delicious thing. It would be a wondrous and lovely item to introduce to the courts. Discovery would be the stuff of lore.

But that woman's suffering is felt far and wide. May it give birth to social change - and help get us out of this foul dishonest war.
