Former Iraqi minister refutes NBC report he told CIA about WMD

AMMAN (AFX) - Naji Sabri Hadithi, Iraq's foreign minister under Saddam Hussein, denied a report on US TV channel NBC that he provided the CIA with information about the deposed regime's alleged weapons of mass destruction.

'The information carried by the American channel NBC are lies, totally fabricated and unfounded,' Sabri Hadithi told Agence France-Presse in a telephone interview, in his first public remarks since the US-led invasion of Iraq in 2003.

'After the lies about the weapons of mass destruction which do not exist and the alleged links with Al-Qaeda, it seems that this new lie is aimed at giving a new fake pretext to justify the crime of the century: the invasion of Iraq.'

...

He said the NBC report follows 'the failure of attempts (by the US administration) over the years to convince (Iraqi) civilian or military officials ... to betray their country.'

...

He also denied Saddam had any biological weapons.

1. Now he has all sides mad at him - I would not want to be in this guys
shoes. If NBC is correct - Cheney had a significant "no Nukes in Iraq" source. Like the DSM this is evidence that we were taken to war on lies and frauds.

Secondarily, it shows we were working with French Intelligence and then undercutting them when they had information that we didn't want disclosed. Who wouldn't write us off as a bunch of double dealing bastards.

3. Bush's free pass: 911, terra, Zarqawi, al Qaida, Iran, WMD
Nothing he does matters because traitors like lieberscum
will always support him vocally and in public.
When will the lamb rise up?

2. Bush's response: 911, terra, Zarqawi, al Qaida, Iran, WMD
Whenever Bush is inundated in a new wave of recriminating facts
he just steps up to the camera and recites the Two Minutes Hate.
The disconnect appears to be complete.
I am guessing the US is done done done.
We shall see what happens in '06.

4. "the crime of the century: the invasion of Iraq"
.
.
.

Ain't that the sad truth . .

Unfortunately the PNACers did this at the BEGINNING of the century

They may outdo themselves before this century is over

I'd almost bet on it . . .

(sigh)
