Iraq killings make Japan rethink SDF dispatch - Mainichi Daily News (Japan
http://mdn.mainichi.co.jp/news/20031113p2a00m0dm023001c.html

Chief Cabinet Secretary Yasuo Fukuda, who had said on Wednesday that Japan was set to carry out the SDF mission to Iraq this year, toned down his stance Thursday after a bomb attack killed 16 Italians in the southern city of Nasiriyah.
