1. gawd
Surely his handlers won't let him. What an utter embarrassment. This man has no freaking conscience - have you ever seen him try to mimic empathy, sorrow? It makes him look constipated.

10. My thoughts precisely.
Not one funeral attended nor one private meeting with American soldiers families but oh he goes to Britain and since Rove decided it'll be a great photo op to show his "compassionate concern" :puke: to help his less than zero image with the British people he falls all over himself to put on a dog and pony show for the cameras. This shows you the utter craven callousness of the man. EVERYTHING is cold political calculus. No meetings or funerals here since it would remind people of his stupid folly but when he is there he can bank on the truncated nature of American media coverage and people's lack of attention to foreign news to minimize any negative blowback. Feelings and emotions do not enter into the equation thus things like this are "fun" to him.

17. Makes Perfect sense
Since they have much stricter gun control laws in England.
While I certainly don't wish any harm to befall the chimp, I think this may be the reason that he doesn't meet with the families of American troops.

22. I would think so and
he talked about the death of the Italian soldiers without a mention of ANY of ours. This pathetic excuse for a person is ONLY concerned with getting other countries to come in and clean up HIS mess so he can pull our troops out, declare victory, and try and get elected, and then start another war to please his fascist puppetmasters. Can anyone but us see through this insanity?

23. The world exists soley for his pleasure! ARRRRRGH
This idiot! So freaking selfish! "It's all about ME" attitude.

He also made it clear that he would do his best to bolster the prime minister's political standing at the same time.
Then stay the hell away!

"a really interesting and fun experience".
Never mind what the local merchants, government and police are going to have through to entertain your sorry ass!

"One, the prayers of the American people and the prayers of the president are with them as they suffer.
Elitist bastard! Actually I am grateful he is separating himself from the rest of the American population.

"I'm really looking forward to spending time with my friend - and I emphasise 'my friend' - Tony Blair,"
See first quote - that will help Tony out alot - NOT!

"Never once has he said to me, ever, 'gosh, I'm feeling terrible pressure'," Mr Bush said. "I have never heard him complain about the polls, or wring his hands. The relationship is a very good relationship because I admire him, and I admire somebody who stands tough."
See above

Mr Bush said he was looking forward to the opportunity to make his case for the war. He said he had ordered the invasion on two principles: to "secure America" and to promote a free society in Iraq.
Can't bring myself to dignify this with a comment- the man is obviously clueless as to the reason for the protests.

IDIOT SON OF AN ASSHOLE!!!

...and you're right, rchsod...he has no shame, and seems to be busy campaigning to be king of the world...what an idiot.

Gee, ya think he's just really trying to show those families that he's taking some of the blame for their losses? Yeah...you go (to hell), Georgie Porgie

<snip>

"Obviously, staying at Buckingham Palace is going to be an historic moment. I never dreamt when I was living in Midland, Texas, that I would be staying in Buckingham Palace," he said, joking that he would have to rent a morning suit for the occasion.

In fact, Mr Bush is no stranger to royalty. He met the Queen in Washington when his father was president.

According to an account of that 1992 encounter, the Queen asked him whether he was "the black sheep in the family".

"I guess that might be true," Mr Bush said. The Queen reportedly responded by saying every family had one.

19. W has no shame nor any sense either
Here's what the Brits have to say about our very own moron in chief:

It is not only Bush the Chicken-hawk warmonger and promoter-in-chief of the great illusion about Saddam's weapons of mass destruction who they will be denouncing. It is also Bush the ignorant, self-righteous Christian warrior, Bush the smirking executioner and Bush the believer in one law for America and another for everyone else. And, of course, Bush the "Toxic Texan", an image made flesh by the "ghost ships" bearing down on Hartlepool, whose US-produced contaminants will find a last resting place on Britain's unpolluted isle.

http://news.independent.co.uk/world/americas/story.jsp?story=463147

From the sounds of it, the Brits are not real happy to have W visiting their country and are willing to tell him just what they think of him. Should be a real fun trip?
