President Bush yesterday accused Democrats of "playing politics"
Plunging into the Senate's marathon debate over judicial nominations, President Bush yesterday accused Democrats of "playing politics" with the federal judiciary by blocking some of his nominees to appellate courts
In response, Senate Democratic leader Thomas A. Daschle (S.D.) accused Bush of having "chosen to politicize these nominations and to raise the level of confrontation within the debate itself."

5. Holding the 2004 GOP Convention in New York so close to 9/11
Isn't playing politics?

Using 9/11 to promote a RW agenda and accusing those who seek a more detailed explaination of the circumstances surrounding 9/11 of "assisting Al-Quaeda" isn't playing politics?

Exploiting Wellstone's funeral to make political gain for the GOP isn't playing politics?

People who live in glass houses....

8. This is the last gasp of the Senate
They folded on the Patriot Act. They folded on the war. They folded on the 87 billion. Now they symbolically attempt to demonstrate their opposition to the appointment of the most extreme Brownshirt judges.

11. I watched some of the marathon debates last night, and I was actually
proud of the Dems in the Senate. Usually they kowtow to the repukes, but not this time. I especially was very proud of Landrieu, she rocked the Senate with her passion.
