but I do understand why they wanted to do it.. She was probably never conscious and did not suffer.., but it's still sad.:(

If the other one survives , that will be a heavy burden for her to live with :(

I guess one always hopes for a happy outcome in such situations, but it's not always to be.

9. how bizarre...

I was JUST watching CNN and Paula Zann was speaking with some medical expert about the operation and they didn't mention anything about one of them dying.

I'm on central time, but CNN is supposed to be "up to the minute!"

and then remembered Paula Zahn's show is earlier in the day.

CNN headline news hasn't run it either.

It's a damned shame when the original 24-hour news network runs nothing but repeated fluff shows.

I have been wondering about that since this weekend, with 3 soldiers dead in 24 hours, seems like there might a been one break in the canned programming.

I remember thinking how much the remaining twin would miss her sister. Now, they are together, for whatever that's worth. This is really sad news, which I did note on TV when it happened, but I wanted to express my sadness here, as well. These were really brave young woman and I wish so much that things had turned out otherwise for them.;(
