Singapore says to keep troops in Iraq (All 192 of them)

SINGAPORE, Nov 15 (Reuters) - Singapore will not pull out its troops from Iraq despite a string of deadly attacks against foreign forces, Saturday's Straits Times newspaper quoted a top government official as saying.

Deputy Prime Minister Tony Tan said the 192 Navy and Air Force personnel were prepared for the dangerous mission in Iraq.

He said a pullout of coalition forces in Iraq would only embolden terrorists and would pose a greater threat for Singapore and the region.
