Bush Says Winds Of Change Still Blowing

Apr. 18 - President Bush says change isn't finished at the White House.

As he named his nominees to be budget director and U-S trade representative, Bush said new chief of staff Joshua Bolten is considering other roster moves.
Bush says, "With a new man will come some changes."

Bush says he's given wide latitude to Bolten to strengthen the White House. And, Bush says Bolten will offer advice on "who should be here and who should not be here."

Bush says he hears all the speculation about whose job is on the line. The president says people love following "the game of musical chairs."

4. Looks to me like the winds of change...
...are building up to blow down the repubs. Everywhere I look discontent with this administration is growing. When it reaches hurricane force, watch out! He's right about winds of change, he just doesn't yet realize which way those winds are blowing.

8. If Bush is still Speaking... The "Wind" is still Blowing...
That's the "hot" wind that smells of spoiled beans (his breath). Though, and this is speculation only, given the intense vacuum between his ears, it would seem more likely that if he opened his mouth, the 'wind' would blow (be sucked) into his head.

9. But less than three weeks ago, Bush was "satisfied"
He'd replaced Andy Card with Josh Bolten, and that was supposed to be it. No more changes. All done. Problems solved, fixed, jiggered, done with:

http://www.usatoday.com/news/washington/2006-03-28-bolten_x.htm

President Bush said Tuesday he's naming budget director Joshua Bolten, 51, to replace current chief of staff Andy Card, who has served as Bush's top aide for more than five years.

Bush, who told reporters last week he was "satisfied" with his White House team, said Card, 58, approached him about leaving the exhausting post.

Wha' hoppen? Now, we get winds of change from the Chimperor. I certainly hope no one in the media is so gauche as to mention this to anyone in the Bush administration. Might look like a change of course, or worse, a flip-flop. And we all know what a resolute guy Bush is.

15. Dylan should sue him.
How many roads must a man walk down
Before you call him a man?
Yes, ’n’ how many seas must a white dove sail
Before she sleeps in the sand?
Yes, ’n’ how many times must the cannon balls fly
Before they’re forever banned?
The answer, my friend, is blowin’ in the wind,
The answer is blowin’ in the wind.

How many times must a man look up
Before he can see the sky?
Yes, ’n’ how many ears must one man have
Before he can hear people cry?
Yes, ’n’ how many deaths will it take till he knows
That too many people have died?
The answer, my friend, is blowin’ in the wind,
The answer is blowin’ in the wind.

How many years can a mountain exist
Before it’s washed to the sea?
Yes, ’n’ how many years can some people exist
Before they’re allowed to be free?
Yes, ’n’ how many times can a man turn his head,
Pretending he just doesn’t see?
The answer, my friend, is blowin’ in the wind,
The answer is blowin’ in the wind.

--------

ironically, Dylan was already screwed out of this song once... see the following story:

34. After he finished with the fire drills
he would have hired a PR firm to educate the passengers not to jump in the lifeboats and save their life. That's always the bushies solution--hire a PR firm change public opinion. It not working as well as it once did.
