Michael Moore has tempered his outlook a bit--he seems less extremist (a good thing). New film could be a huge weapon for winning votes for a Democrat in '04.

3. Sorry I missed it, but have to tell you that I saw his books in Chile |
|
and in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
I was on vacation there and wnet into bookstores both in Santiago, Chile and Buenos Aires, Argentina (I love bookstores). On prominent display in both cities was Moore's book, Stupid White Men, in Spanish. I didn't see any other American "political" books on display.
What was funny was that they were usually in the same display area as "I, Pinochet" which is apparently a new book about/by Augusto Pinochet, former military dictator of Chile.
I'm not sure that the juxtaposition meant anything, but I found it interesting.

5. Catch it if you get a chance! (now on at 6am Monday, eastern time) |
|
Moore is interviewed by Cspan founder (?) Brian Lamb.
I caught most of it last night. It is all pretty good. Some of Moore's personal history is a bit slow, but overall it is great.
