BRITISH soldiers in Iraq hit out in disgust last night over hints of a US pullout in June.

One squaddie said President Bush must be "jet-lagged" to consider leaving as 17 American troops died when two Black Hawk helicopters came down. It was the worst US loss of the war.

Private Antonio Ching, of D Company of the Light Infantry, said: "We've come to help people. What the hell is the point of leaving without having done that?

"And if the Americans are thinking about leaving us here alone, that's disgusting.

2. The timing sucked

The plan to pull out was timed to be the lead story on Sunday and the helo incident changed all that.

I'm more concerned that he's leaving the country just as the families of the 17 dead are welcoming the caskets home. I think it's about time Georgie took time out of his busy schedule to pay them more respect.

over all this?? Quitely tucked away in the back pages of the US news media?? Quite frankly, I'm ill from reading about the daily killing of our soldier's and knowing they are dying for a lie..
