Planned Parenthood, ACLU challenge parental notice law
CONCORD, N.H. (AP) -- Planned Parenthood and several abortion rights groups filed suit in federal court Monday over New Hampshire's new abortion parental notice law.
/snip/

The law requires abortion providers to notify a parent at least 48 hours before performing an abortion on a minor. Notice does not have to be given if the minor gets permission from a judge, or if the minor's life is in danger.

The abortion groups say the bill lacks an exception for when an emergency abortion is required to protect the minor's health. They say the law also is flawed because it doesn't contain provisions to protect privacy.

2. Good Point!
The kid would have to give permission...unless they are using age level to get around the law.

3. Not sure if there is an age provision
PHI, is not something to play around with. Health care providers must be cautious about disclosure.
