Iran Intelligence Agents Meddling in Iraq: Sunni Leader

London -- A top Sunni Iraqi leader accused Iran of sending agents of its Ministry of Intelligence and Security (MOIS) to infiltrate Iraq.

Many Shiites living in southern and central Iraq have complained of the presence of centres belonging to the MOIS in their hometowns, Adnan al-Dulaimi told the Arab-language daily Asharq al-Awsat on Sunday.

Al-Dulaimi, who heads the General Council for the People of Iraq, also accused Tehran of importing and marketing illegal drugs in Iraq.

"Just the presence of drugs of Iranian origin in Iraq proves that Iran is meddling in Iraqi affairs", he said.

2. What about Afghan poppies

Western armies seem to be guarding the poppy fields these days (reading between the lines). Does that mean the presence of Afghan opium in any given country proves that the U.S. (and NATO) are meddling there?

If western armies aren't actually guarding the poppies, they are certainly showing a benign neglect of their cultivation. I have read plenty of articles which frankly state this.
