Expert: Hinckley Suffering From Disorder
http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=519&ncid=718&e=10&u=/ap/20031119/ap_on_re_us/john_hinckley

<snip>

WASHINGTON - A forensic psychiatrist who examined John Hinckley Jr. this year said Tuesday the man who shot President Reagan should not be allowed to visit his parents without supervision, countering testimony by Hinckley's mother and his former psychologist that he is ready for more freedom.

Robert Phillips, the first witness to testify for the government, said Hinckley still suffers from the same narcissistic personality disorder that drove him to shoot Reagan and three others outside a Washington hotel in March 1981.

Hinckley has asked U.S. District Court Judge Paul L. Friedman to let him leave Washington's St. Elizabeths Hospital unescorted and visit his parents at their home in Virginia. Five of the 10 proposed trips would entail overnight stays.

3. The article doesn't mention that he is also
a schizophrenic, meaning he is subject to hearing voices and existing in an alternate fantasy world. Combine that with narcisstic personality disorder (which in my opinion Bush shows all the symptoms of) and his violent past, then he is very dangerous indeed.

4. I'd figure that it would have to be more serious
than narcissistic personality disorder. Hell, Bush has that. I know a number of people who have that, but they wouldn't attempt to kill a president because of it. There has to be some psychosis there as well.

DU psychologists? Help me understand this please.
