Bush to tell UK 'Iraq war right'
US President George Bush is to defend the invasion of Iraq on the first day of his historic state visit to the UK.

Mr Bush is expected to tell the audience at London's Banqueting House on Wednesday that war is sometimes the only way "to defend values".

The president's visit comes amid unprecedented security due to anti-war protests and increased terror fears.

His speech will follow a formal welcome from the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh at Buckingham Palace, where he is staying.

3. new definition of "security concerns" under bushco is "election concerns."
not re-election, mind you. he was never elected. that was the other guy. the guy whose name he has been petrified to speak even once during his entire false reign.

11. I could be wrong but I don't think
Brits are as fooled by vagaries and propaganda abuses of the English language as Americans seem to be. "defend values" is not going to clinch it for Bush.

12. Yes, the Busheviks have been spoiled by how easily they duped Amerika
Edited on Wed Nov-19-03 05:20 AM by tom_paine
They are not used to dealing with a Free People like the Brits.

Ironic, isn't it, that the Brits should show the Imperial Amerikans and our King George (not MY King, though) how Free People behave.
