Report: Expanding DNA Searches to Relatives Could Solve More Crimes |
|
WASHINGTON (AP) -- Searching DNA records has become a common practice in criminal investigations. Researchers now suggest this could be taken a step further by looking for close DNA matches that might lead police to a criminal through a relative. They note that 46% of jail inmates have at least one relative who has also been in prison. But the idea also raises questions of privacy and other ethical and legal concerns. http://www.wtol.com/Global/story.asp?S=4892469

3. Searching every home would solve more crimes, too |
|
We could be perfectly safe if the police could just enter any place at any time and look for criminal activity.
As soon as the Bush administration has shredded the Constitution we'll all be safe and happy.
Right?

|
and lock up the entire population
That way would be 100% sure that no criminal has escaped "justice"

16. It's how they caught the BTK killer |
|
They matched DNA with his daughter's tissues from an old medical test (completely without her knowlege). I think they had enough evidence already, they could have done without doing that.

8. This could lead to abuses. |
|
Info like this in the 'wrong hands' could lead to legal abuses. This sort of evidence would have to be handled with utmost care and we know how records and evidence are mistakenly lost, disappear, get mixed up and handled sloppily. There seems to be a drive for a wide DNA data base. 1984 is slow in getting here but it might be on the way.

9. Follow The Money..Another Corp Stands to Make $$$$$$$$$$$$$ |
|
Which Company would get the (no-bid??) contract for this DNA database? Who is pushing this and who are the stockholders?
Everything that could possibly fall under 'security threat' in any fashion seems to be big $$$$ up for grabs in BushCo's Corporate World Order.
They should start with the Bush Crime Family DNA. Test the theory there, first.

13. Let's see, DNA, phone and internet records, health records, sales |
|
records, credit card records, driving records, banking records, membership lists, selective service records, educational records, prescription records, and more. Now they are ready to cull from the population any individual they want. Just like the Nazis, only this time it is computerized and so very elegant. And, of course, the ability to declare martial law whenever it pleases and all of those spanking new empty camps just waiting for guests.
Who are we?

That's a question I've been asking ever since Americans didn't blink when the Gore won the election, and let the Supreme Court hand the office to BushCo. And it has only gotten worse since then.
