National Parks to cutback

Snip<
"National parks are the soul of America, and we are neither taking care of them nor enabling the Park Service to fully inspire and teach visitors," says Tom Kiernan, president of the National Parks and Conservation Association, which lobbies for the parks.

Why would this IDIOT in charge concern himself with the Parks.

1. How did Bill Maher put it?
"It would be like owning the Garden of Eden.....

and not strip mining it for the coal underneath."

to the point people will stay away. This will be the excuse to cut more services and eventually all the staff. OUR parks will now be ready to sell to greedy developers and greedy mining companies.

I will never lose interest in OUR National Parks.

Look how fast * and his cronies have fucked our country. They must have had all this crap planned from the start, from the WTC, to Afghanistan, to Iraq, and beyond. Fuck them and their playbook.

5. I'm a member of the NPCA and it's despicable what is happening to them
Staff cutbacks don't even begin to come close.
It's the easiest thing in the world to do: ask the Republicans why the hate America so much that they are destroying our national parks.

6. This is the Norquist doctrine in action.
Sabotage any and every government program that's successful (and popular). Then step in and say "Look! Government can't do anything right! The clear solution is privatization!"

In our age of useless "news" media, this works appallingly well, because there is nobody to remind Joe Sixpack that these programs used to work just fine, until the GOP got its hands on them and fucked them up.
