There is an article on dem.com that explains the AARP decision. It seems that the CEO is a buddy of Gin-grinch and trying to lock aarpers up for repugs. We are being lamblasted from every corner.

4. What about that new UNION that afl-cio was proposing for Anyone?

I saw it mentioned on DU a few times. That the AFL-CIO was starting a union for people like DUers -who believed in Unions but were not part of one in the workplace. We could just join that one. I thought it was a good idea and was willing to join but I never heard anymore about it. Does anyone know about it? Did they get it off the ground ever? Guess I could find a website and look around but that seems to easy.

It sounded sort of like an IWW Lite, which seems like a good idea to me. Course I guess I could just join the IWW too. It does still exist. They are pretty heavy into Marxism though, which is really baggage that will get you ignored (or worse) in America.

organizations are not buying this plan to gut Medicare. I think this can be stopped, the truth is coming out and many repubs are turning against it.
