Alleged bin Laden tape: Moussaoui not part of 9/11
Voice on tape says two Guantanamo detainees knew of plot

CNN) -- A Web site message purportedly from Osama bin Laden says admitted al Qaeda follower Zacarias Moussaoui had nothing to do with the attacks of September 11, 2001.

"I am certain of what I say, because I was responsible for entrusting the 19 brothers -- Allah have mercy upon them -- with those raids, and I did not assign brother Zacarias to be with them on that mission," the taped statement says.

"And his confession that he was assigned to participate in those raids is a false confession, which no intelligent person doubts is a result of the pressure put upon him for the past four and a half years."

If the tape is confirmed as authentic, it would be the first time that bin Laden has claimed to have personally assigned the jobs for 9/11.

That was not an excuse to unload like that. Asking me where I got this intel. You're expecting a lot.

The people who receive these tapes are citizens of middle eastern countries' media in some capacity, from past information. They're persecuted within their own countries by domestic intelligence services. On the other hand, US intel has very poor human intelligence resources in those countries, making answering the questions you pose to me, as if I should know the answers, impossible for the CIA, DIA, etc, to answer.

And because these are middle eastern countries, and a lot of these media organizations are piddling little things compared to CNN, tracking these drop points 24/7 is an exercise in gross futility because a) they're probably never used twice, b) couriers might be in the business of finding the journalists even when the journalists don't know they're going to get drops. Which makes anticipation hard, by intent.

Beyond that... uh, lay off a bit, I did not post to become your personal enemy.

that he was not part of to the 911 Attack crew. He was a wannabe. Now he will spend the rest of his life in solitary confinement for something he may have wanted to do but didn't do.
