Jeb Bush approached about running NFL
"TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Florida Gov. Jeb Bush said he was privately approached about his interest in becoming the NFL's next commissioner.

Bush said Tuesday the issue was discussed at a recent meeting with Patrick Rooney Sr., according to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel."

Rooney's brother is Dan Rooney, owner of Super Bowl champion Pittsburgh Steelers and co-chair of the search committee looking to replace the retiring Paul Tagliabue.

"I met with Mr. Rooney and I said, `I'm doing my job until I'm finished and then I'm going to consider other things,'" Bush told the newspaper.

Bush has said he will not run for president in 2008. His final term as governor ends in January, although he doesn't believe NFL officials will hold the position open until then."

30. Agree...

...maybe it will get me interested in upland game and deer hunting here in South Dakota, once again. As long as they clamp down on out of state hunters, like Dick Cheney. And yes, there is a big brouhaha going on in South Dakota about the "Governor's Pheasant Hunt" and pandering to corporates.

10. I think to them it proves they are "men"
The men in the bush family considers themselves to be manly men and being involved in sports gives them that false sense of manly-hood.

If you check out the past of the bush family and sports, it was something that always was forced on them to prove that they are men. All you have to do is look at these pictures to see what awesome sportsmen they were/are:

The general public won't put up with gross incompetence in their sports industries. It's the perfect place to highlight that trademark Bush witlessness in a way that really doesn't hurt anyone.
