CIA blocks plan to issue new warnings to Syria regarding WMD development

The Central Intelligence Agency and other American agencies blocked a Bush administration plan to deliver sharp new warnings this week about Syria's attaempts to develop unconventional weapons, according to U.S. government officials, The New York Times reported Friday.

The CIA and the other agencies raised strong objections to testimony that John R. Bolton, an undersecretary of state, had planned to present Tuesday to Congress.

The hearing was postponed, and congressional officials and other government officials said one reason was the dispute over Bolton's plan to declare in a classified portion of his testimony that Syria's development of chemical and biological weapons had progressed to the point that they posed a threat to stability in the Middle East.

the fact that syria does have a weapons program and prodution plant and the cia doesn`t want any warnings? maybe they don`t want anyone to find out where the syrians purchased their equiment from..maybe some american and british are quilty?...oh yes ,maybe the syrians are just trying to counter the israeli weapons of mass destrution? and don`t they have a right to self defence?

So the Neocons get intel form the CIA and the CIA say they shouldn't make a stink because it's no big deal or maybe possible faulty evidence...But the Neocons Attempt to feed us shit to the point that the report had to be blocked....I mean isn't it clear that these Neocons have their own agenda, are listening to no one and will stop at nothing?

These days, feel as if we are sitting either in the middle of a huricane or it's the calm before the storm, because PNAC is not completed. It's only a matter of time before the next stage is prepared...THe Neocons are shouting out "the show must go on.. The Show must go on. ""
