Bomb Attack in Iraq Kills U.S. Soldier, Army Says
BAGHDAD (Reuters) - A bomb that was detonated as a U.S. convoy drove past Thursday killed one American soldier and wounded two near the restive Iraqi town of Ramadi, a military spokeswoman said.
She said the attack happened east of Ramadi, in the "Sunni triangle" region where much of the resistance against U.S. forces is concentrated.

Booby-Trap Kills U.S. Soldier North of Baghdad
BAGHDAD (Reuters) - A U.S. soldier was killed north of Baghdad by a booby-trap on Thursday, the American military said on Friday.
A spokesman said the soldier was from the 4th Infantry Division. He did not specify what kind of booby-trap was used.
