DUBAI (Reuters) - A London-based Arab magazine said Friday that Osama bin Laden (news - web sites)'s al Qaeda network has vowed to carry out a major attack by February, and to target Japan if it sent troops to Iraq (news - web sites).

The weekly al-Majalla weekly said it received an e-mail from a little known al Qaeda member, Abu Mohammed al-Ablaj, in which he said the group planned a "big operation" before early February.

The e-mail, whose authenticity could not be verified, also said al Qaeda was behind the twin suicide bombings that killed at least 27 people at the British consulate and the office of a London-based bank in Istanbul.

"(Ablaj said) al Qaeda and its followers across the world are the people who carried out these two operations which he called lightning strikes," the magazine said.

5. You mean like the Saudi Arabia threat that caused us to empty the embassy?
I think we had to wait 2 whole days for that one.

7. Oh, you know they got lucky on that one...
What about all the "terralerts" during 2002? Every time the Quasident was in trouble (poll-wise), they'd issue another alert to take the heat off of him (esppecially in May 2k2, when the Phoenix Memo came to light).

Sorry, but I don't trust them and their politically motivated "terralerts" anymore...

9. Or the one for the end of the summer
I notice that this summer came and went, remarkably free of terrorist attacks on my Manhattan home. I think that the Bushies would be well advised that terrorist organizations don't usually give you the courtesy of a warning before an attack.

11. Suuuuuure.....
DUBIUS (Rhoiders) - A Crawford, Texas-based Arab magazine said Friday that the al Qaeda network has vowed to carry out a major attack by February if their leader, Punxsutawney bin Sleepin, emerges from his underground bunker and sees his shadow.

The weekly The Arbusto Bunnypants said it received an e-mail from a little known al Qaeda member, Abu Khral al-Rhojv, in which he said the group planned a "big time operation, and I don't mean a bypass" right before the presidential primaries in February.

The e-mail, from a bigKKKarl@hotmail.com, whose authenticity could not be verified, also said al Qaeda was behind Rush Limbaugh's drug addiction, the recent London protests against George Bush, Clinton's penis, and Wesley Clark's eyebrows.

"(al-Rhojv said) al Qaeda and its followers are evildoers who plan to masturbate until God kills all of the kittens on the planet," the magazine said.

12. OMG - it's worse than we thought. Save those kittens.
Stop choking that chicken. Sit down, shut up, and be VERY VERY afraid.
