Sorry for not putting a snip, but that's pretty much it, we blew up an insanely powerful bomb in Florida, no clue as to what the point of this bomb is.

2. Didn't we do this
just before the invasion? Supposed to show the Iraqis our awsome weapons and scare the bejeezus out'a them. Guess this will work about as well as the first time. <sigh>

3. Umm
Any reason it was done in Florida?

Is there a range there?

I thought they used Nevada and places like that for weapons testing?

6. There are two............
bombing ranges in Florida. One somewhere in the Panhandle and the other is about 25 miles from me in Avon Park. Thank Koresh they didn't drop it here. They drop mostly dummy bombs here from altitude.

11. The mushroom cloud is why it was tested in FL
A ten-thousand foot mushroom cloud over the Nevada desert would make people -- citizens, anti-nuke activists, foreign governments -- extremely nervous. And, with the way that conspiracy theories go, no one would ever believe that it wasn't a nuke.

10. my wife would get along with her, i had her walking around the air show
with her hands out feeling for the "invisavble Stealth plane"...i even had her ask the soldier guarding the "Stealth" where the "Invisable" plane was... he pointed out to a big empty area and said , "Its right over ther mam.." she finally gave up... unfortunatlly the spoof got out of hand pretty quick so I coulD never tell her.

8. "Air Force pleased with test. Gravity still pulls things down.."
Now if we could get it to work in the rain or keep people off the laptop, we'd have sumthin'!

Is it just me or am I the only person unamazed when huge amounts of explosive material fall to the ground when released from the air and the detonate when the fuse hits the load?

Bombing Florida is the only good thing about this, although it appears that they missed Jebbie by miles and miles!
