France, Russia, Germany Want U.N. in Iraq
I say let them have it.

UNITED NATIONS - France, Russia and Germany urged the United States and Britain on Friday to ensure that the move toward self-government in Iraq includes all Iraqis opposed to violence, neighboring countries and the United Nations.

The three countries — which opposed the U.S.-led war in Iraq — also supported the idea of a conference that would bring together a broad spectrum of Iraqi groups, along with Iraq's neighbors and international representatives to support the return of sovereignty.

Russia said the conference could be held outside Iraq because of security concerns and proposed that it set specific steps to implement the political timetable agreed to by the U.S.-led coalition and the Iraqi Governing Council on Nov. 15.

The views of the key Security Council members were spelled out at an open meeting after U.S. Ambassador John Negroponte and British Ambassador Emyr Jones Parry briefed members on the timetable and coalition efforts to improve security and give Iraqis more responsibility for running the country.

1. The War on Terror: A smashing success

The American War on Terror has been a smashing success making the populations of many Western industrized modern states that did not support the war much much safer.

6. It doesn't matter how many resolutions Bush and his cabal try to
push, they will not be supported at the UN until Bush gives up everything he went into Iraq for - oil, permanent air bases, etc.

8. Sounds like Clark's plan
is getting traction.....like everything else he said.

Krugman used "trojan horse" to criticize the medicare bill today.... Clark said that at the NH AARP debates.

Kerry said "join the army if you want to use assault weapons"....
Clark said that on 9/17/03....his initial quote on gun control.

Edwards said "this election is a defining moment in history"....
Clark said that at the NH AARP debates before Edwards said it...Clark went before Edwards.

Bush said "we have changed the pattern of landing for our Chinooks"....Clark suggested that back 5 days before Bush implemented that plan

Biden just stole the entire "get out of Iraq" plan from Clark...but no surprise as Biden was made famous for plagerism.

Clark criticized Dean referring to Reregulation....Lieberman and others jumped on that bandwagon.

Clark used the Bait and switch comment in the 2nd debate....Gephardt used it in the AARP debate and ever since....

If you really listen to what Clarks says...you hear a lot of it later on coming out of everybody's mouth.

Such a compliments. Also shows true leadership.

10. two other things:
1. Schröder said today that Germany might waive debts Iraq has in Germany (a few billions).
2. Siemens won a $100 M contract in Iraq.
