Syrian PM says after bitter Iraq experience US not to launch new front
against Syria.

Syrian Prime Minister Mohammed Naji Otri dismissed the possibility of a US front against Syria, noting that the Iraqi experience has dissuaded Washington.

In an Egyptian weekly interview published Wednesday by Al-Mussawar, he said "The situation on the ground shows that the Iraqi experience is proving to be a bitter one for the United States, and it must get out as cheaply as possible before thinking about declaring another front."

"If they do succeed and things go well for them, then they can think about a new goal, especially with the American elections coming up," Otri asserted.

"The United States wants Syria to adopt a position supporting the American presence in Iraq, and this is impossible since it is in contradiction with our national principles," the Syrian PM stressed.

1. This is in response to our massing 20,000 troops on Syria's border
I hope we don't invade Syria next. However, according to the PNAC's 'Mein Kampf' plan to conquer the planet, Syria's next.

8. They're just waiting for the arrival of the additional 120,000 troops...

...that the Bunnypants Brigade has indicated will be replacements for the frontline units currently in Iraq.

IMHO, those frontline units will NOT be headed home. They will instead be shifted within Iraq for use as a very large supplement of the 20,000 American troops currently on the Syrian border. The next step will be a quick strike to invade and occupy Syria.

All the warning signs are there. The accusations of harboring terrorists and possessing WMDs are all the justifications the NeoCons need to continue the military campaign in the Middle East.

Additionally, prior to the invasion of Iraq the following steps were executed:

1) a declaration of the end of major combat in Afghanistan;

3) accusations against Iraq for possessing WMDs and harboring terrorists;

3) the shifting of frontline troops within the Middle Eastern theater;

4) the arrival of reinforcements from the U.S.

Sound like a familiar pattern?

Additionally, Iran has already been accused of harboring terrorists and possessing/developing WMDs.

And the military draft will be cranked up in mid-2005.

3. But will Bully Bush take it?
Did you ever build a snow fort and take sides and start with the snow balls until someone got mad and started putting ice into the snow balls. And it would turn into one bloody mess if someone did not stop it?

4. Georgey
has to take it now. He has overextended our forces, and made us look weaker not stronger. I think it was Zbigniew Brzezinski or Wes Clark that made that point recently...

No never played that particular winter sport..Who's going to stop Georgey do you think?

6. As much as they want another war
It's just not possible now, we're bogged down losing men and material every day in Iraq, the cost of that illegal operation is driving us to the point of bankruptcy. Still, these aren't the brightest bulbs in the box and they do bear watching, I think it'd be very hard for them to follow through on their world domination scheme right now.
