Bush Did Not Consult CIA Before Making 45 Minutes Claim

The White House has confirmed on the weekend, that it did not seek CIA approval, before making public statements that, according to the British Government, Iraq could launch a biological or chemical attack in 45 minutes.
As reported exclusively on Big News Network.com through the week, President Bush told Congress leaders of the claim on September 26 last year, and then repeated the claim in a Rose Garden press conference.
The claim came from a dossier released by the British Government on September 24. On the day the dossier was released Ari Fleischer, the then White House Press Secretary, told reporters at his daily briefing, "The 45 minutes window under which Iraq is prepared to use biological and chemical weapons is one further sign of worries we have about Iraq, and their militaristic intentions."
The Washington Post reported Sunday that the claim was repeated by the president in his weekly radio address on September 28
