1. We've done a flier with the names on it
It's been front and back for quite a while. Then I dropped some of the heading and expanded the margins to get more names in. We dropped the tables & dropped middle initials. We've done just about everything to gain space but it looks as though this will be the last week that we will be capable of keeping all the names on back and front. When that happens, we will have to give up on the flier and stick with our poster board of names, which is now 7 columns long. :sigh:

2. I've noticed the strategy of dividing adverse events
Edited on Wed Nov-26-03 11:21 PM by teryang
...into into two groups, those that are prejudical and those that appear to be content neutral is a corporate tactic designed to mitigate the political impact of adverse outcomes. Ostensibly there is something "scientific" about it. But it is exactly the sought of unsupported quackery that the right always bitches about.

It is statistical hocus pocus, it's divide and conquer in the marketplace of persuasion. The so called "non hostile fire" death rate is totally unacceptable and the combat environment is a substantial factor in many of these deaths. To say otherwise is simply more regime mendacity.
