Blair 'fine' after stomach pains
Edited on Thu Nov-27-03 06:56 AM by emad aisat sana
From BBC News:

Tony Blair was back behind his desk on Thursday after he was struck by stomach pains on the biggest day of the parliamentary year.
A doctor was summoned to see him just hours after his agenda for the next year was outlined by the Queen. But aides said Mr Blair was given the all-clear and was back to work chairing the weekly Cabinet meeting on Thursday. The health scare comes just weeks after Mr Blair, 50, received hospital treatment for an irregular heartbeat. The prime minister will be keen to play down the latest problem and rebuff any questions about his future in a stressful job.

Maybe he was feeling a bit sick after hearing the official police figures that London street crime soared by 20% during Shrub's visit last week.....14,000 police on the streets and London thugs had a field day. Kinda makes sense I guess if the world No 1 Thug was in town for a party....

Britain's Blair suffers second health scare

LONDON, Nov 27 (Reuters) - Two doctors were rushed to Tony Blair's Downing Street office after the British Prime Minister complained of stomach pains, officials said on Thursday.

Blair, 50, felt unwell on Wednesday evening, just five weeks after he suffered a heart scare.

A family doctor attended him but was sufficiently concerned to call in a specialist, the premier's spokesman told reporters.

"He is fine," the spokesman said. "The problem appeared to pass pretty quickly.

4. Nope.

He's worried about having his sign-on bonus with Carlyle docked for failing to appear as the complete buttmonkey for Bunnypants.

14. I might tend to agree with that….
The transformation of poodle from the Clinton years to the twit’s years has been a story in it self, I believe. Where there is little doubt on the status of the twit’s conscience or lack of, the same cannot be said of poodle. I think privately, he may be a wreak…..on the public side, he crossed so far over that fine line of no return, that literally, there is no return.

8. Having his head up his ass for too long?
This is the second medical "incident" that Blair has had in as many months. Is there something about Blair's health that the public ought to know?

13. Bush has that effect on people!

I think he's like an "emotional vampire" that sucks energy and life out of those around him ... Tony's been looking pretty miserable since they started hanging around together.

15. I agree. Anyone that befriends Bush
ends up paying a huge price. Look at what Tony got in return for "helping his buddy out" in Iraq. Some of the biggest protests ever, and a country turned against him.

The Queen also got a taste of that 'friendship' last week when her yard was torn up.
