Tony Blair yesterday proposed a ban on advertisements for unhealthy children's food and the introduction of incentives for people to go to the gym.

The Prime Minister, who has suffered two health scares in recent weeks, put forward a string of ideas to improve the nation's fitness as he launched "a big conversation" with voters on future Government policy.

A 77-page consultation document, to which the entire nation has been invited to respond by e-mail, text message, post or through meetings with MPs, suggested a range of policy ideas to enhance social justice and develop social responsibility.

It stressed the need for people to look after their health so that they could make their full contribution to society. "This will require us as individuals and as a nation to take our health and fitness more seriously," it says.

it's not fun anymore, besides "Kraft durch Freude" (Hitler) and in a healthy body lives a healthy spirit. The Nazis were obsessed with those kind of things, as well as the stalinist Soviet Union. In my eyes, it's really the attempt, after the third way and the wellfare state collapsed and don't work anymore, to change the former democratic societies of the west into soft pedagogical dictatorships, leading the people.
It's incredible cynical. We're bombed with advertising, whenever we leave our homes or enter our homes, 24 hours a day, to sell us useless shit. But the ones, selling us this useless shit are the ones, who guarantee that idiots like Blair are elected. So after eating, smoking and drinking all this shit, we should go to the gym?

We're citizens, not schoolboys and -girls. If I have to watch these Schröders, Blairs and Bushs any longer, it will do serious damage to my stomach. And it might be hard for millions of Britons, cause they can't afford to buy healthy food anymore after years of corporation-whore Blair governing them.
