Rice seeks end to Palestinian violence
By ANNE GEARAN, AP Diplomatic Writer

JEDDAH, Saudi Arabia - Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice appealed Tuesday for an end to fighting among Palestinian factions and said she is looking for ways to strengthen President Mahmoud Abbas in his standoff with Hamas radicals who control part of the Palestinian government.

"Innocent Palestinians are caught in the crossfire and we call on all parties to stop," Rice said of the worst Palestinian violence since March. "The Palestinians deserve calm."

New gunbattles erupted Monday night between Fatah gunmen and Hamas militiamen in the southern Gaza town of Rafah, killing two people and wounding 14 a day after a deadly explosion of internal violence paralyzed the Gaza Strip.

Rice spoke during a news conference with her Saudi counterpart as she began a Mideast tour intended to shore up Abbas, as well as the secular Arab governments in Lebanon and Iraq.

4. Condi needs to stay outta Dodge.
There's a liberal media posse already formed and biased...

"Ms. Rice, When did you stop lying to us about 9-11?"
"Ms. Rice, Is it true you are now taking memory supplements?"
"Ms. Rice, Do you remember shopping for shoes in the Katrina aftermath?"
"Ms. Rice, Do you know the Woody Guthrie tune, "So Long it's Been Good to Know Ya?"

8. The Palestinians deserve not to be occupied, murdered, tortured, bombed,
checked for their "papers," imprisoned, shot and numerous other things. But this Administration supports all of these things.

to end the funding of palestine.

Palestine is a non-functioning economically... it is a basket case now.

Whatever your opinion of Hamas is, it is a response to the hardline Israeli position supported by Bush. Bush egged the hardline Israelis and ignored Israeli doves. In response, the Palestinians ignored their own doves and brought in Hamas...

Whenever Rice speaks we can assume doublespeak... she talks of democracy and she means dictatorship... she talks of peace and she means war...she talks of ending Palestinian violence and she means inciting more Palestinian violence...

She talks of peace but she means unconditional surrender by the Palestinians.

By this time we all know the tiresome Bush M.O.
