See what Clinton's cooking up now

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - Former President Clinton has called on his celebrity friends to share recipes compiled in a cookbook to raise funds for his library foundation.

The Clinton Presidential Foundation said it will publish the $35 book next month.

"The Clinton Presidential Center Cookbook: A Collection of Recipes for Family and Friends" contains 250 recipes from celebrities including Muhammad Ali, Bono, Christie Brinkley, Chevy Chase, Whoopi Goldberg, Don Henley, Quincy Jones, Sophia Loren, Mary Steenburgen, Barbra Streisand and Elizabeth Taylor. . . .

1. Yes, I've heard about this.
The Center sent me an e-mail with an order form, and I also got the information from them in the regular mail. You can get the first copy for a $35 donation, and as many additional as you want for $20 each. My order has already been sent in.

5. Sure does!
And happy! (Everytime I see or hear him, I realize how much I miss him). Ya know, I think a part of the continuing attacks on him is because he is happy and healthy. I think the RW nutzoids thought he'd go into a blue funk complete with wailing "mea culpas", etc. and it chaffs 'em to see him standing tall all around the world, leading a productive life.

Can you imagine the scene if the Big Dog and * found themselves in the same venue? That'd give new meaning to that old nursery ryhme: "And the cheese stood alone"!

I love charity cookbooks. The variety in them is amazing. It's like looking at a little slice of the recipe donor's life.

I'd buy one of Bill's books! Where do I sign up?

edit: Hey Bill! Looking good, Dude!

23. Sure - like those people cook
people who have millions cook? I doubt it - they're usually too lazy to be bothered with work, but I guess they can get the recipes from their chefs and caterers.

26. you should have seen him get down and boogie
at Nelson Mandela's birthday party the other day. Really, they guy knows how to have fun. He was dancing with Nelson's wife, people all around him smiling and dancing. -a real bash!

compare and contrast: shrub needs a phlanx of armed guards to insulate him from the protesters outside, and has to have citizens put under house-arrest when he visits africa.

31. From NPR's "Wait Wait- Don't Tell Me" The panelists predictions
Asked which recipes they wanted to try from the Clintons Celebrity Cookbook-

Charlie Pierce "in the spirit of no hard feelings they will include Ken Starr's Chicken With Leeks;
Henry Hyde's Cracked Crab; and Paula Jone, Monica Lewinski and Jennifer Flowers
contributing on Pigs In A Blanket"

Sue Ellicott said something about Hillary, chocolate chip cookies and home delivery-
didn't get it.....

Roy Blunt,Jr "George Bush, Sr.'s Waspy Loin Of Pork"

I laughed for HOURS after hearing that!
