WASHINGTON — Conservative Rep. George Radanovich has turned to a pro-choice, gun-banning San Francisco Democrat for help in his re-election bid.

Her name is Sen. Dianne Feinstein, and she's not happy about it.

In a bit of campaign-season turnabout, Radanovich appropriated Feinstein's image for his latest political mailer. The mailer displays the Mariposa Republican and Feinstein on the same page, and quotes Feinstein as giving "great thanks" for the "leadership" Radanovich showed in seeking a San Joaquin River compromise.

... "The use of Senator Feinstein's image was an unauthorized use of her photo, and we have asked that it be withdrawn," said Feinstein's press secretary, Howard Gantman.
