Harris claims 2 debate foes: Nelson, media
November 01, 2006

Think last week's U.S. Senate debate was boring?

Blame the moderator and the panel of three journalists, Republican candidate Katherine Harris says. Their line of questioning didn't touch on the issues that separate her from Democratic incumbent Sen. Bill Nelson: taxes, immigration and traditional values.

The questions "flagrantly avoided his weaknesses - flagrantly," she said.

"There's a gulf of differences between Bill Nelson and me. I think in a debate such as that those critical issues should have come to the forefront," Harris said. "Everyone said it was such a nice debate or almost a boring debate, and that's because they tried to use issues that would help Nelson, even in asking basic questions."

So who's Harris going to blame on election day, when Nelson creams her?

2. She can blame Fox News Channel's webpage.

WITNESS TO THEIR SEPERATION? PHILLIPE AND WITHERSPOON OVERHEARD HAVING ARGUMENT AT PARTY.
This is actually on the current Fox News website front page.
See Kathryn, no one cares about your silly debate.

5. Who speaks the truth you say?
:spank:

I have to disagree with your premise that the Media is truthful...and speaks the truth...

I guess it depends on your perspective...unfortunately the truth is twisted to fit our views...

Great to hear that Harris is having "problems" with the "liberal media"...

23. Hopefully when harris is defeated, she will be regulated to the
trash bin of politics, and we will never have to encounter her again.
It will be nice to keep Senator Nelson for another six years.
Now if we could get the Jim Davis poll numbers ahead by double digits, we would have something sweet going.

Pestering her nonstop, distracting her from making the excellent responses she could otherwise have made! Bad voices! Planted by Democratic operatives!

24. Taxes, Immigration and Traditional Values
Taxes - steal from the poor and middle, give to the rich.

Immigration - Latinos are a uniquely evil group that must be deported.

Traditional Values - The US was founded as a Christian nation, and fundamentalist dogma should be the law of the land.

These are the the issues that separate her from her opponent.
