Kerry remarks draw response in Nebraska races

BY JOSEPH MORTON

WORLD-HERALD BUREAU

WASHINGTON - Nebraska Republicans moved quickly to capitalize on controversial comments made by U.S. Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass., while a number of the state's Democrats tried to distance themselves from the party's 2004 presidential nominee.

Similar scenarios are playing out across the country after Kerry said Monday at a rally at a California college that people who don't study hard might get "stuck in Iraq."

Kerry subsequently apologized, saying he had flubbed a joke aimed at the intelligence of the Bush administration, not at the brainpower of American soldiers.

But many Republicans view the flap as prime campaign fodder entering the final days before a midterm election in which the balance of power in Congress could be on the line.

1. The Omaha Weird Harold is a right-wing piece of crap that even
garbage would be offended if you wrapped it up in it.

Check out the Ahmundsen Family. And crazy Harold W. Anderson. Then see if anyone cares what this piece of shit reports.

6. Thank Gawd Kerry gave republicans a platform to run on!
They had nothing else.

Now they can base an entire election on a botched joke made by a Dem senator!

Rightwingnuts; truly the stupidest MFers in history.
