Voting Back To Normal At Madison School After Bomb Threat
East High Polling Place Will Now Be Open Until 9 P.M.

MADISON, Wis. -- Voting is back to normal Tuesday evening at Madison East High School after a bomb threat there earlier in the day.

The high school was evacuated Tuesday after a threatening note was found. Authorities said the note indicated that a bomb would go off at the school at noon.

Madison school district spokesman Joseph Quick said the bomb threat was against the school, rather than the polling place.

At the request of the Madison City Clerk, a Dane County Circuit Court judge has ordered that the ward 32 polling place at East High School remain open an additional hour, until 9 p.m on Tuesday.
